“To be greeted with beauty at each moment was a delight to my whole being.”

— Colleen

Puissentut is a beautifully restored, medieval chateau that oozes charm and comfort.

The chateau comprises the main house, the cottage, the barn, the pigeonnier and the garden. It can very comfortably accommodate 24 people in luxurious surroundings.

Modern comfort

While the chateau’s robust stone walls have stood for centuries and tell of various incarnations, the interior is fresh and modern.

In the main house there are 10 en-suite bedrooms, two sitting rooms with wifi, a dining room and a kitchen.

In the cottage there is an open plan living area with kitchen (and wifi), two double or twin bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

Space to relax

The chateau is set in lovely gardens with views across rolling hills. You can soak up the sun and socialise around the pool or at the juice bar, or, if you are looking for solitude, there is plenty of space to find a quiet spot to read, rest and contemplate.

If you fancy a walk take the woodland path surrounding the chateau or stride out across the fields.

Studio and treatment rooms

In the barn is the light and airy studio space. It is 13x10 metres, has a wooden floor and is fully equipped with yoga props, including mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, blankets and eye bags.

The outdoor barn is covered and provides a great space for either a work-out or a party, whichever is your preference!

Accessible

The entire ground floor and two of the bedrooms are accessible for wheel chairs. Both bedrooms have wet rooms. It is also possible to access the barn and the treatment rooms.

Although there are no steps into the garden some assistance is necessary across the grass and down the slopes.
